Founders Title Dilemma [Update: Stats raised]

[Update] They have now discussed and are raising the founders stats to +12 all and +13 Vit.

A lot of you have read tomorrows patch notes and have instantly face palmed – and I have too. Tomorrows patch will be a controversial one, probably the first and hopefully the last.

The bulk of the issue is that they’ve reduced the stats of the “Founders Title” from

• Str + 30
• Int + 30
• Age + 30
• Wis + 14
• Vit + 44

to

[Update] They have now raised the stats due to immense public demand.

• Str + 5 to + 12
• Agi + 5 to + 12
• Wis + 2 to + 12
• Vit + 8 to + 16

Since the announcement of the Founders Event, players have been excited for this amazing title – one that would provide stats equal to one of the most hard to earn titles, the Legendary Boss Master. Many players then started making various lvl30s to try snag this exclusive title for their own.

The event began at the launch of the game, and as a reward for reaching level 30, players would be awarded the Founder title on all of their characters.

Fast forward a month, to June 1st – the supposed end of the event. On that day, the Warp Portal team announced that “Hey! if you guys stay online for 60 hours, we will reward you with additional titles per 6 hours you stay on for” . This brought confusion and uncertainty, as players who spent their time grinding multiple characters to 30 could have easily avoided the unnecessary work by just walking away from their keyboard.

Players began to sit around accumulating in-game time to qualify for additional titles, some set up shops and others simply played the game.

On Wednesday morning, the Founders titles were distributed and patch notes were put online for the next days patch. But not all players were happy with specific change that was added. The team at Warp Portal announced that the Founders Title’s stats (+30 int,str,vit,wis and agi) were too high and competed with the Legendary Boss Master (+30 int, str, vit, wis and agi). Additionally, the team believed that it would unbalance the game and remove the need to try to accomplish other title tasks.

So with this sudden change, players were eager to make their voices heard about how they thought they had been deceived and tricked into playing for longer. Warp Portal tried to explain that the stats were not supposed to be known to players, that it was a mistake, and that it would be unfair to future players.
